High-quality cameras are designed to accommodate CS mount lenses. An optional adapter is provided to extend the back focal length by 5 mm so that the camera is also compatible with C-mount lenses.
When the lens is not installed, make sure to install the dust cover because the sensor is sensitive to dust. To install the lens, unscrew the dust cap, then screw the lens into the thread. When installing a CS mount lens, remove the C-CS adapter. Only required when a C-mount lens is installed.
