Circuit description
The core of the circuit is NE555, and IC1 and IC2 are connected as a typical multivibrator. The control voltage terminal of IC2 is controlled by the output oscillation voltage of IC1. When the output of IC1 is high, the voltage at the control terminal of IC2 is higher than 2/3VCC. At this time, the charging and discharging time of capacitor C3 becomes longer, the oscillation period increases, and the frequency decreases. When the output of IC1 is low, the voltage at the control terminal of IC2 is lower than 2/3VCC. At this time, the charging and discharging time of capacitor C3 becomes shorter, the oscillation period decreases, and the frequency increases. In this way, in an oscillation cycle, the speaker will produce an alternating rate increase. In this way, within an oscillation period, the speaker will produce a two-tone alarm sound alternately.
